GLOBOGATE Migration and Business Network is essentially a world-wide active consulting network which is higly specialised in the areas of international move, company relocation, international estate planing and acquirement of real estate in foreign countires. Emphasis is placed on integrated and exclusive advice, consultation and counceling, offered to all individuals and companies who plan moves, relocations and expansions accross international borders. 

In order to comply with the desires and wishes of our clients regarding cross-border activities and international movements, we offer complete and integrated solutions within the framework of international project management as an interface function between clients at the one hand and several specialists on the other.  A completely new profession or discipline has been created and is outlined here: The International Private Risk Manager®.

Central problems and issues with cross border activities

The ever increasing specialisation of the consultants and the growing complexity of analysis, solution, and the decision process as a result, has to be, in accordance with the client’s personal objectives, not only to be taylor-made, hold intrinsic risks and disadvantages as below:

  • the specialisation of the consultants results in ever growing numbers of them, which in turn, means an ever wider range of possible potential contact persons for the client
  • The specialisation of consultants, furthermore, quite often leads to certain problems of demarcation, overlapping and differences between the consultants to the disadvantage of the client
  • Analysis, evaluation and interpretation of various aspects of the consulting process, such as know-how offered, information given, factfinding performed and conclusions drawn by the specialists, is left to the client
  • The coordination and selection of individual consultants in all cases of interdisciplinary questions and problems is also left to the client
  • The growing number of consultants results in unexpected cost explosions
  • The expanding lot or group of specialists can result in a lack of discretion, not treating personal and business matters as well as confidential client information any longer in the strictest confidence

The generalist as International Private Risk Manager®

Out of those disadvantages arises the need for the client to have one genuine and experienced specialist who truly takes care of his interests as his special contact person who can be directly approached.  Here the generalist or the project leader in his capacity as the International Private Risk Manager enters the game and the following advantages emerge accordingly:

  • the International Private Risk Manager® is and works independently in his position and acts exclusively in the interests of his clients
  • He sees himself as the reconciliating interface between various special areas such as know-how in legal, business, taxation and other relevant matters, combining and uniting all responsibilities into one single person
  • It is him who will ask and direct specific and precise questions to the specialists, who also will gather the relevant know-how on time, translate documents and information and, as a result of the consulting process, will finally compile the whole matter into a complete unit, easily comprehensible to the client
  • He will analyse the basic facts, recognise and identify interdisciplinary problems, and develop efficient solutions and strategies which clearly match the personal and specific needs of the client
  • He also presents the different strategies and solution alternatives in a comprehensive way, and tries to encourage the client to make his decisions on time
  • He will prepare the basis and lay the groundwork for the final decision just by himself, coordinating the inputs of the various specialists as far as necessary, avoiding the partial loss of information, typically suffered by the client during the process
  • The International Private Risk Manager will function like a filter by passing on confidential client information to third parties. He takes care that these data and information will be treated with the utmost discretion
